Another supernatural drama about twenty-somethings is coming to The CW, according to Hollywood Reporter, and they’re hoping for it to be “another BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER.”
The show will be based on EMBRACE, the book by Jessica Shirvington about a woman named Violet Eden who discovers that she’s half angel and the key to a centuries-old war between fallen angels and their earthly protectors.
Bill Laurin and Glenn Davis will write as well as executive produce along with Amblin Television’s Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank.
Does this story premise remind anyone of that video game THE LONGEST JOURNEY? …Great game by the way.
