Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is known to many as the iconic Mr. Eko in LOST. He’s set to give fans another thing to remember him for, as the villainous Algrim and Kurse in THOR: THE DARK WORLD.
He described his role: “It’s an amalgamation of a bull and a lava-like creature…He has very animalistic tendencies but with this insatiable and unstoppable power. As an actor, that’s one of the hardest things to embody. You have to realize you are probably the most powerful thing you could imagine. And you have to be that. You can’t pretend, so that when you face Thor, it’s real.”
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje joins Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Christopher Eccleston, Zachary Levi, Ray Stevenson, Jaimie Alexander, Stellan Skarsgard, Idris Elba, and Tom Hiddleston in the sequel, coming November 8th.
