ZOMBIELAND is indeed making a comeback, in the form of a TV show now, from Amazon. We recently discovered the casting sheets and the idea that the TV series idea was alive, and it didn’t take long for it to be confirmed.
Amazon is developing the original series, planning for 30 minute episodes and a mixture of characters from the film and brand new characters. The 2009 ZOMBIELAND film was originally hatched as an idea for TV, so this is simply returning it to its root. It’s exciting news for fans of the concept and the film, though there’s no way Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, or Abigail Breslin will reprise their roles, which is the real shame.
