Nicholas Brendon (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, but you already knew that) and Amber Chaney (THE HUNGER GAMES, THE WALKING DEAD) have joined the cast of Blue Dusk Productions’ THE MORNINGSIDE MONSTER.
The film comes from writer-producer Jayson Palmer, as Brendon, and Chaney join Robert Pralgo, Tiffany Shepis and Catherine Taber in the cast. The Chris Ethridge directed film is described as follows:
The Morningside Monster unfolds around the discovery of a brutally murdered corpse in the woods of the otherwise-peaceful small town of Morningside, NJ. Racing against time, Sheriff Tom Haulk and his deputy, Klara Austin, embark on a desperate journey to catch the killer, pitting them against friends, enemies and even each other. Brendon will play Mark Matthews, the history teacher at the local high school. Chaney will portray his wife, Abby, a town fixture known for her strength in the face of adversity.
