THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 is really shaping up nicely. Chris Cooper — veteran actor from THE TOWN, ADAPTATION, and numerous others — has joined the cast, as Norman Osborne. Sounds like we have Green Goblin version 2.0. Cooper’s a fantastic actor, and he obviously can play a great villain.
Cooper joins Andrew Garfield, Dane DeHaan, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Shailene Woodley, Sally Field, Martin Sheen, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, and Colm Feore in the cast. Marc Webb’s sequel is coming May 2nd, 2014.
