Cardiff, Wales – February 02, 2013: The full trailer for upcoming Welsh horror DEAD OF THE NITE has been released in all of its gory glory, showcasing a cast comprising genre icons Tony Todd (CANDYMAN, FINAL DESTINATION, HATCHET), who makes his British film debut, Simon Bamford (HELLRAISER, NIGHTBREED) and Suzi Lorraine (TORMENT).
The film follows a group of ghost hunters whose hopeful date with the deceased in the bowels of a haunted castle becomes a bloody battle for survival as one by one they meet their own demise, raising the question as to whether they are being hunted by a cold blooded killer or a supernatural force. DEAD OF THE NITE puts a modern twist on the classical ghost story, combining the found footage shocks of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY with the bone-chilling atmosphere and suspense of HALLOWEEN.
The film, the first production from Welsh company Dark Arts Films, Ltd., is written and directed by BAFTA member SJ Evans, who made his feature debut to critical acclaim with the 2010 documentary TATTOOS: A SCARRED HISTORY, and produced and casted by Sousila Pillay. DEAD OF THE NITE also stars Joseph Millson (CASINO ROYALE, HOLBY CITY), Gary Mavers (DEVIL’S BRIDGE), Paul Fox (RED TAILS), Cicely Tennant (BLOODED) and Claudio Pacifico (PRINCE OF PERSIA).
