Duncan Jones Directing “World Of Warcraft” Film

After Sam Raimi left the adaptation of Blizzard Entertainment’s enormously popular game, WORLD OF WARCRAFT, the project looked to be in bad shape.

You’ve gotta give Legendary Pictures credit for staying the course, though. The name they’ve wrangled up now may be even better, or at least more imaginative, and just as cool. Said name is that of inventive filmmaker (and David Bowie’s progeny) Duncan Jones, who has directed the acclaimed MOON and SOURCE CODE, and is currently working on an Ian Fleming biopic.

He will be tasked with adapting Charles Leavitt’s script, and supposedly working toward a 2015 release.
