Eva Green has scored a key tole in Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s sequel, SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR. The actress — known for CASINO ROYALE, GOLDEN COMPASS, and CAMELOT — will play Ava Lord.
This is what Miller and Rodriguez had to say about the hire and the character that Miller describes as “every man’s most glorious dreams come true, she’s also every man’s darkest nightmares“:
“We’ve been wanting to tell this story for a very long time. Ava Lord is one of the most deadly and fascinating residents of Sin City. From the start, we knew that the actor would need to be able to embody the multifaceted characteristics of this femme fatale and we found that in Eva Green. We are ecstatic that Eva is joining us.”
Julia Garner (THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER and MARTHA MARCY MAY MARLENE) has also joined the cast of SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR. She will play, unsurprisingly, a young stripper opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s character, Johnny.
