Recently, we learned that Joseph Kosinski was on board to helm a sequel to TRON: LEGACY, the beautiful-if-stilted sequel to fan favorite TRON. The sequel’s script was devised by David DiGilio (EIGHT BELOW), Edward Kitsis (TRON: LEGACY, ONCE UPON A TIME, FELICITY, LOST, BIRDS OF PREY), and Adam Horowitz (the same, and POPULAR) and is being rewritten by Jesse Wigutow.
Now we’ve learned that Sam Flynn is back, with star Garrett Hedlund returning to the fold as the son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges). We don’t know much beyond who’s involved, but the Disney film reportedly will explore life and death in the digital realm. I can’t wait for the visuals (and hopefully less wooden acting), for sure.
