Barbara Hershey is coming back for more in James Wan’s sequel, INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2. She joins returning castmates Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, and Ty Simpkins in the film. She reprises her role as Lorraine Lambert, the mother of Josh Lambert (Wilson). Hershey has revitalized her career of late, with her vicious role in BLACK SWAN and her villainous turn in ONCE UPON A TIME.
The horror film is aiming for an August 30th release, a quick turnaround from a planned January shoot, but thus is the life of a horror director, even one as noted as James Wan. He will direct from a script by Leigh Whannell, who was on hand the first go round as well.
