It’s getting to be about that time for some hyperbole about the fifth X-Men film, X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. Hugh Jackman, fresh off of winning a golden globe for LES MISERABLES (I would’ve gone with Bradley Cooper), was chipper about his role in the upcoming Bryan Singer film. Here’s what he had to say:
“Every other actor who’s ever put on a superhero uniform will be in it…There’s an element of time travel and, naturally, it will be action-packed.”
While that’s clearly impossible, it seems to insinuate that we’ll be seeing Cyclops, Storm, Iceman, Rogue, et al, for this next film. So far, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and Nicholas Hoult are the ones signed up. We will be seeing Jackman in THE WOLVERINE on July 26th, whereas we’ll see the lot of them a year later, July 18th, 2014.
