Kodi Smit-McPhee (THE ROAD, LET ME IN, and PARANORMAN) has joined the cast of DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, reteaming with director Matt Reeves. He joins Jason Clarke, who was hired to lead the cast (and likely the resistance against the apes), and Andy Serkis.
Scott Z. Burns, Amanda Silver, Rick Jaffa, and Mark Bomback devised the script, which is to take place 15 years after the events of RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and feature a San Francisco-based group of scientists resisting Caesar’s reign. On May 23rd, 2014, we will see how successful they are.
