We have a new still from IRON MAN 3, and some information on the whereabouts of Loki and Nick Fury in the upcoming slate of Marvel Studios’ new films.
First, the still from the next Marvel movie, IRON MAN 3, starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau, Ashley Hamilton, William Sadler, and Ben Kingsley.
MSN chatted with Tom Hiddleston, or Loki, about if he’ll be in AVENGERS 2: “I don’t know, and that really is the honest answer…I know I’ve been known for obfuscation in other quarters, but I have no idea, I haven’t spoken to Joss. He’s definitely doing it. So I suspect not, only because I think that probably the audiences are tired of Loki being the bad guy. Maybe the Avengers need somebody else to fight. But I’d love to be part of it again.“
Samuel L. Jackson was asked if Nick Fury will be involved with bringing the Guardians of the Galaxy together: “No, Cap 2, then nothing until The Avengers 2…but that’s in 2014. Hopefully they’ll throw me another Star Wars movie.“ (Movies.com)
And finally, it was learned that Chloe Bennet (of NASHVILLE) has joined the upcoming Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show. She plays Skye, ”a confident woman who is slightly obsessed with superhero culture and the shadow organizations that exist within it. She’s edgy and can out-talk anyone with her unflappable nature.” The series begins filming next year and it would be a fairly big surprise if it didn’t begin airing on ABC in the fall of 2013. Bennet joins Clark Gregg, Brett Dalton, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Ming-Na Wen in the growing ensemble.
