Despite 5.4 million viewers tuning in for the pilot turned Halloween special of NBC’s MOCKINGBIRD LANE, that is all we will see of Bryan Fuller’s creation. He tweeted what some may term as sad news, but I see as glorious:
“I tweet with a heavy heart. NBC not moving forward with #MockingbirdLane. From producers and cast, thank you all for enthusiasm and support.”
First, never tweet with a heavy heart. Second, judging by the gross pilot, I don’t think many are going to miss the project, which had starred Jerry O’Connell, Eddie Izzard, Portia de Rossi, Charity Wakefield, Mason Cook, Beth Grant, Cheyenne Jackson, and company.
