Dan Blank has created a hell of an entertaining short that he describes as a “Proof-of-concept for a feature about sushi chefs fighting sea monsters.”
Now that I think about it, sushi chefs are the heroes of many Japanese restaurants (in addition to being the guardians of the sacred craft of seafood and rice), and are thus the perfect defenders of humanity for a movie about attacking sea monsters.
