Peter Dinklage is getting in on the fun that is Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: THE DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. He’s the first addition to the cast that isn’t a reunion from either X1-3 and X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, and it’s reported that he will be a villain. So no, he won’t be Puck. Maybe he’s Modok, maybe he’ll be the voice and entity of Master Mold, or maybe he’s the Senator who’s in danger. Who knows, but I’m excited to find out.
Dinklage joins a stocked cast that includes Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, and Shawn Ashmore.
Hugh Jackman also recently talked about the ballyhooed sequel, in which he will take a “large role”:
“[I] first heard about it around October or November [2012]. I was literally finishing ‘The Wolverine’ and dreaming about lasagna, and about three weeks before the end, they told me…There was no way I was not going to be part of that.”
