Book Review: "Ghost Saucers In The Sky!" by DC Larson
  • Author: DC Larson
  • Publisher: Retro-Riff Books

A Retro-Riff chapter play.

See Earth attacked by secret flying killers from space.

Hear a mad outer-space witch plot horrors.

Thrill as independent captain Eddie Atomic battles evil invaders.

A chapter-play recalling the vintage fun and adventurism of 40′s movie serials and 50′s space-operas.

In his brilliant sequel to SHAKE RATTLE & ROCKET, Mr. Larson returns to the world of Captain Eddie Atomic with a brand new pulse racing adventure. Ghost saucers, an outer-space witch, a daredevil pilot and a beautiful woman robot, what is not to like.

As with SHAKE RATTLE & ROCKET, GHOST SAUCERS IN THE SKY transported be back to a simpler time, when as a child I started on this wondrous journey of reading books and spent my Saturday afternoons watching Creature Feature, Flash Gordon and risking life and limb with The Hardy Boys.

GHOST SAUCERS IN THE SKY is great fun to read, and for any of you Monster Kids out there, this tale will bring you back to the days when Sci-Fi was fun and Famous Monsters ruled the land.

Remember the days when you first discoverd the joys and adventure of reading, when opening a new book was cause for excitement and joy, the feel of the pages and the scent of the paper. Reading DC Larson’s GHOST SAUCERS IN THE SKY will take you back to the halcyon days of your youth.

Today when reality TV is passed off as entertainment, it is refreshing to be able to read a book that is real entertainment, something with substance that can be enjoyed by all.

If you have not yet had a chance to read anything by DC Larson you are missing out on something special. I for one hope that the adventures of Eddie Atomic will continue and I very highly recommend GHOST SAUCERS IN THE SKY.
