Prepare yourself for a nerd-gasm. Ryan Gosling’s first directorial outing, HOW TO CATCH A MONSTER, which already has Eva Mendes and Christina Hendricks in the cast, has just found its leading man. That would be DOCTOR WHO himself, Matt Smith, who will presumably be in charge of the monster hunting.
The story is described thusly: “…is set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city and centered on a single mother of two being swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town.“
