Andy and Lana Wachowski’s next film, JUPITER ASCENDING, is getting as good a cast as their last “romp,” CLOUD ATLAS. Sean Bean (LORD OF THE RINGS, GAME OF THRONES) is the newest big name to join the ensemble, which already has Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, and Eddie Redmayne.
Bean will play a character named Stinger. The film is about higher life forms watching Earth from other worlds, and in a “You’re no longer the fairest of them all” twist, Mila Kunis’ character is found to have the same genetic makeup as the queen of the universe. Said Queen of the Universe isn’t too happy about the threat, never mind that Kunis’ character is scrubbing toilets!
