Jim Starlin — Thanos creator — has confirmed that Thanos will be in both GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and THE AVENGERS 2!
Additionally, Cosmic Book News surmises that Adam Warlock and Magus could be two possible villains for THE AVENGERS 2, or that there could be an additional villain in the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY movie. Alex Maidy over at JoBlo comments that ‘Thanos in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY would be mainly to set him up for THE AVENGERS 2, seeing as the release dates line up properly.”
Marvel has previously revealed that James Gunn will direct the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY movie. Any FM readers have an opinion on this choice?
The release schedule so far is THE AVENGERS 2 on May 1, 2015; with IRON MAN 3 on May 3, 2013; THOR: THE DARK WORLD on November 8, 2013; CAPTAIN AMERICA: WINTER SOLDIER on April 4, 2014; and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY on August 1, 2014.
