This past weekend, I was fortunate enough to roam the grounds of the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle for the 11th year of the Emerald City Comicon, the premiere comic-con in the Pacific Northwest. You can read about my adventures in my Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 reports, but in this post you will find my photo documentation of costumed con-goers and some candid shots of the celebrity guests, including Adam West, Burt Ward, Gillian Anderson, Billy Dee Williams, and Patrick Stewart. Enjoy!
- All the big media guests at this year’s con.
- A salute to the Emerald City Comicon, and to you sir, for getting there in style.
- Adam West. This guy is the man. Give him a sitcom that isn’t Seth McFarlane related.
- Burt Ward. This guy fought Bruce Lee. Go Burt.
- Me with the legends themselves! Holy nervous sweat, Batman!
- Billy Dee Williams being inducted into the The Lando Society.
- A personal hero of mine. And looking pretty great.
- Look no further for the replacement Han Solo in Episode VII.
- I dislike Jubilee a little less.
- Brilliant Data.
- All of a sudden, I’m feeling patriotic.
- Why, what big horns you have…
- Awwww!
- Bwahahaha!
- Love this dude.
- A kid Cable!
- One of the most badass choices of the night. XORN
- One of my runner-ups to best costume.
- The Comedian and Silk Spectre. Brilliant.
- SCULLY
- I was only able to capture about 30% of the size and awesomeness that is Predator’s scythe with this one.
- This guy or girl had a really squeeky high voice. That anachronism terrified me even more.
- I feel like it’s ethically wrong to inject your kids with the super soldier serum, but that’s America for you.
- My pick for top costume. Brilliant character choice, great size and scope. Well done, random sir.
- I fell in love with Tonks this weekend. Also, am I the only one getting a serious Milla Jovovich a la Fifth Element vibe?
- My favorite villain and one of my favorite costumes. DOOM!
