It’s clear that the 40 year legacy of the original film is still going strong!

*New Piece: "...By the Knife." I can't believe we are standing on the doorstep of a new Halloween movie, and tonight we'll knock and enter Haddonfield once again. "Trick or Treat!" This is a new piece I did in celebration of this momentous night when The Shape finally returns to the big screen. For this piece I wanted to create an updated version of the original 1978 poster art in a new, dynamic, and elemental way, with Michael Myers reflected in the blade of his infamous butcher knife, soaked in blood and dirt and fire, and surrounded by the death he's created in Haddonfield and beyond. This piece is for the Famous Monsters of Filmland Week 5 art exhibition. I had to make a drawing for the new Halloween movie. I saw it a few days ago and it’s so good! Jamie Lee Curtis is somehow even more badass here than she was in H20. Like Michael... she is a strong, unstoppable character. She’s as important to the franchise as he is! So here’s my drawing of them sharing some down time, celebrating their 40 years of horror.
